North of Bramwell Junction various bypass routes intertwine with the most difficult sections of the Old Telegraph Track.

Because of recent grading, the petrol attendant here was telling everyone, the best route north was via the Southern Bypass and Heathlands Ranger Station to the Old Telegraph Track, then north on it to Eliot Falls.
